I miss the backing vocals of the original. But I always felt the chorus was over-done, so I don’t miss that.
Is this album/band big in America? I’d never heard of them, even when I was younger and into that sort of stuff - around the time this album came out. Only heard about them late last year. But they show up on Oppo semi-regularly

Don’t know how big they are in the States as a whole (I’m also Canadian, which doesn’t help), but they’re pretty big in the music sphere I’m in/listen to.

They might be too intense. They’re very intense. It took me a good long while to fully appreciate them. But now they’re all I want to listen to. Plato’s Tripartite is about as good as it gets ;)
